iPhone 16 price in Nigeria by storage
Storage is the only thing that moves the price of an iPhone 16. Every variant carries the same 8GB of RAM, so capacity is what you are paying for. Here is each one, priced separately for brand new and UK-used stock.
| RAM / Storage | New range | New typical | UK-used range | UK-used typical | Offers checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8GB / 128GB | ₦800,000 to ₦950,000 | ₦935,000 | ₦690,000 to ₦860,000 | ₦795,000 | 4 new, 12 used |
| 8GB / 256GB | ₦950,000 to ₦1,100,000 | ₦1,100,000 | too few offers | not published | 4 new |

At the 128GB tier the used discount is 15%, which is unusually thin, and it is the single best argument for buying new here. Buying new costs you ₦140,000 more and buys you warranty, an untouched battery and no ownership history.
How many iPhone 16 units are actually for sale in Nigeria
We counted 869 active listings for the iPhone 16: 339 advertised as brand new and 530 as used. That puts the used share at 61%.
New stock still exists but it is thin, and most of what you will be shown in Computer Village, Ikeja or Banex is used. That gives you leverage: with 530 used units competing for your money, a seller who will not move on price is easy to walk away from.
Listing depth matters more than most price pages admit. A model with 869 live offers gives you a real market to negotiate inside. A model with twenty gives you whatever the seller in front of you decides.
iPhone 16 against the rest of the iPhone 16 series
Within the iPhone 16 series the iPhone 16 sits at the bottom. Here is the whole range side by side, each model priced at the storage tier with the deepest verified supply.
| Model | RAM | Display | Storage priced | New typical | UK-used typical |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| iPhone 16 Pro Max | 8GB | 6.9 in | 256GB | none | ₦1,150,000 |
| iPhone 16 Pro | 8GB | 6.3 in | 128GB | none | ₦980,000 |
| iPhone 16 Plus | 8GB | 6.7 in | 128GB | ₦1,080,000 | ₦890,000 |
| iPhone 16 | 8GB | 6.1 in | 128GB | ₦935,000 | ₦795,000 |

If you would rather watch someone put these side by side than read a table, this covers the whole generation:
What else ₦795,000 buys you right now
The most useful question about any phone price is not whether it is fair, it is what the same money buys somewhere else. At ₦795,000 for a used iPhone 16 128GB, these are your live alternatives across other generations.
- iPhone 15 Pro₦795,000used 256GB
- iPhone 17e₦750,000new 256GB
- iPhone 15 Pro Max₦860,000used 256GB
- iPhone 14 Pro Max₦680,000used 256GB
The line worth reading twice is the iPhone 17e. It is 2 years newer than the iPhone 16 for roughly the same money, the kind of trade the Nigerian used market throws up constantly and almost nobody prices for.
iPhone 16 review: what you are actually buying in 2026
The iPhone 16 shipped in 2024 with an an A18 chip and a 6.1 inch display. At 2 years old it is still on current software and the battery is the main variable.
Watch that before you pay, not after. Almost every complaint we hear about a used iPhone purchase in Nigeria is something the buyer could have seen in a ten minute review.
Grading a used iPhone 16
Sellers in Nigeria grade by eye and call almost everything A-grade. Price against battery health and originality instead. These are the bands we would pay at the 128GB tier.
- A₦842,000 to ₦860,000
Battery 90% or above
No visible scratches, original parts, seller can show the box or receipt
- B₦739,000 to ₦842,000
Battery 85 to 89%
Light scuffs on the frame, screen unmarked, no repair history
- CBelow ₦739,000
Battery Below 85%, or not stated
Visible wear, replaced screen or battery, or a seller who will not show the health screen
What to check before you pay
- 01Battery health. Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health and Charging. Under 85% means a replacement is due, and that is real money in Lagos or Abuja. Make the seller open this screen in front of you.
- 02Activation lock. Settings, then General, then Transfer or Reset iPhone. If the seller’s Apple ID is still signed in, walk away. An iCloud-locked phone is a paperweight and no technician can fix it.
- 03Face ID. Test it, and test it twice. A failed or missing Face ID almost always means the phone has been opened, and it cannot be repaired with third party parts.
- 04eSIM and physical SIM. United States units from this generation are eSIM only. Put your own SIM in before paying, or confirm your network supports eSIM provisioning.
- 05Charging port. This model charges over USB-C. Bring your own cable and confirm it both charges and transfers data, because a dead data line is a common hidden fault.
- 06Serial and IMEI. Dial *#06# and check the IMEI against Apple’s coverage page. A mismatch between the printed serial and the software serial means replaced parts. Our guide to spotting fake phones covers the rest.
If you are buying UK-used specifically, read our UK-used phone buying guide first. It covers what the label actually means, which is not what most sellers imply.
Where these prices come from
New prices come from verified retail listings on Jumia and Konga. UK-used prices come from active retail listings on Jiji. Across the iPhone 16 we reviewed 869 listings: 339 advertised as brand new and 530 as used.
We exclude iCloud-locked and carrier-locked units, bulk and wholesale offers, listings with no stated condition, and prices sitting more than 40% from the market median. We publish a range only where at least four comparable offers survive that filter. Chip, display and release year come from Apple; RAM comes from GSMArena, because Apple does not publish it.
Prices last verified: 12 September 2026. Nigerian phone prices move with the naira, and our naira and phone prices explainer covers why. Confirm with the seller before paying, and report a price correction if you see something wrong. Every model we track is indexed on the Apple iPhone price hub.
