Pixel 6 price in Nigeria by storage

Only one storage tier has enough live supply in Nigeria to price honestly, and it is the one below. Anything a seller quotes you outside this capacity is a negotiation, not a market price.

At the 128GB tier the used discount is 14%, which is unusually thin, and it is the best argument for buying new here. Buying new costs you ₦40,000 more and buys you warranty, an untouched battery and no ownership history.

How many Pixel 6 units are actually for sale in Nigeria

We counted 13 active listings for the Pixel 6: 5 advertised as brand new and 8 as used. That puts the used share at 62%.

New stock still exists but it is thin, and most of what you will be shown in Computer Village, Ikeja or Banex is used. With 8 used units competing for your money, a seller who will not move on price is easy to walk away from.

What else ₦245,000 buys you in the Google Pixel range

The useful question about any phone price is not whether it is fair, it is what the same money buys elsewhere. At ₦245,000 for a used Pixel 6 128GB, these are your live Google Pixel alternatives.

What other brands sell at ₦245,000

Almost nobody shopping at this budget in Nigeria is loyal to one brand, and almost no price page puts the options side by side. These models from other makers sit within a fifth of what this Pixel 6 costs today.

The honest trade at this price: an iPhone 11 Pro holds resale value better than a Google Pixel in Nigeria, and a Google Pixel usually gives you more hardware for the same money. Every price we track for that brand is on the iPhone price hub.

Pixel 6 review: what you are actually buying in 2026

The Pixel 6 shipped in 2021 with a Google Tensor chip, 8GB of RAM and a 6.4 inch display. At 5 years old the question is not whether it was good, it is whether it still gets security updates and whether the battery has anything left.

Watch that before you pay, not after. Most complaints we hear about a used phone purchase in Nigeria are things the buyer could have seen in a ten minute review.

Grading a used Pixel 6

Sellers in Nigeria grade by eye and call almost everything A-grade. Price against battery health and originality instead. These are the bands we would pay at the 128GB tier.

  • A₦259,000 to ₦290,000

    Battery 90% or above

No visible scratches, original parts, seller can show the box or receipt

  • B₦227,000 to ₦259,000

    Battery 85 to 89%

Light scuffs on the frame, screen unmarked, no repair history

  • CBelow ₦227,000

Battery Below 85%, or not stated

Visible wear, replaced screen or battery, or a seller who will not show the health screen

What to check before you pay

  1. 01
Carrier lock, before you look at anything else. Most Pixels in Nigeria are ex-United States carrier stock. Put your own MTN, Glo, Airtel or 9mobile SIM in before you pay and confirm you get calls and mobile data, not just a signal bar. Settings, then About phone, then SIM status. A Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or Google Fi locked Pixel cannot be unlocked from Nigeria at any price, and sellers do not always know their unit is locked.
  2. 02
Check the IMEI is not blacklisted. Dial *#06#. A large share of imported Pixels were reported lost, stolen or left on an unpaid United States instalment plan, which blacklists the IMEI. A blacklisted handset can work briefly and then stop. Run the number through an IMEI status checker before money moves.
  3. 03
Look up the exact end-of-support date. Google publishes a guaranteed update date for every Pixel. Pixel 6 through 8 get five years of updates from launch, Pixel 8 onward get seven. This is the one Android brand where you can know exactly how long the phone stays supported, so use it: an out-of-support Pixel should be priced as a camera, not as a phone.
  4. 04
Battery, with the Pixel caveat. Settings, then Battery. Google shipped software on some older Pixels that deliberately reduces maximum capacity and charging speed, so a battery can be healthy and still underperform. Check what the phone actually does across an afternoon rather than trusting a percentage.
  5. 05
Google account lock. Settings, then Accounts. If the seller’s Google account is still signed in, the handset locks itself at the next factory reset and nobody can recover it. Make them remove the account in front of you, then reset the phone yourself before money changes hands.
  6. 06
Model number tells you the market. Settings, then About phone, then Model. Pixel model codes differ by region and the United States variants are the ones most likely to be carrier-tied. Match the code against Google’s own listing for that generation before you agree a price.
  7. 07
IMEI, last. Dial *#06# and check the number matches the box and the sticker under the SIM tray. A mismatch means replaced parts or a re-shelled handset. Our guide to spotting fake and parts-swapped phones covers the rest.

Where these prices come from

Prices come from active retail listings on Jiji, read on 14 September 2026. Across the Pixel 6 we reviewed 13 listings: 5 advertised as brand new and 8 as used.

We exclude locked units, bulk and wholesale offers, listings with no stated condition, and prices sitting more than 40% from the market median. We publish a range only where at least four comparable offers survive that filter. Display size, chipset, RAM and release year come from Google’s published specifications, cross-checked against GSMArena.

Prices last verified: 14 September 2026. Nigerian phone prices move with the naira, and our naira and phone prices explainer covers why. Confirm with the seller before paying, and report a price correction if you see something wrong. Every Google Pixel we track is indexed on the Google Pixel price hub.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the Pixel 6 in Nigeria?

A new Pixel 6 128GB typically costs ₦285,000, with verified offers running from ₦265,000 to ₦300,000. Verified 14 September 2026.

How much is a used Pixel 6 in Nigeria?

A used 128GB typically costs ₦245,000, ranging from ₦230,000 to ₦290,000 depending on battery health and condition. That range comes from 7 verified Jiji offers with locked and bulk listings removed.

How much RAM does the Pixel 6 have?

8GB of physical RAM in the configuration most commonly sold in Nigeria. Google publishes RAM openly. There is no extended or virtual RAM figure on a Pixel, so the number on this page is the whole story.

What is the battery capacity of the Pixel 6?

4614 mAh as published by Google. On a used unit the rated figure tells you very little: what matters is how much of it survives, which is why the checklist on this page asks you to measure it rather than trust it.

Is the Pixel 6 still worth buying in 2026?

Yes, if the battery still holds a day and the price is at or below the typical figure on this page. It is 5 years old, so you are buying it for the price, not the specification.

Pixel 6 or iPhone 11 Pro: which is better value in Nigeria?

They cost almost the same here: the Pixel 6 typically goes for ₦245,000 used and the iPhone 11 Pro for ₦245,000 used. The Pixel 6 gives you 8GB of RAM and a 6.4 inch display against 4GB and 5.8 inch. Compare the two on price per year of remaining software support, not on the spec sheet alone.
