Redmi 10A price in Nigeria by storage
Only one storage tier has enough live supply in Nigeria to price honestly, and it is the one below. Anything a seller quotes you outside this capacity is a negotiation, not a market price.
| RAM / Storage | New range | New typical | Used range | Used typical | Offers checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6GB / 128GB | no verified new stock | not published | ₦70,000 to ₦95,000 | ₦85,000 | 4 used |

There is no brand new Redmi 10A stock worth quoting in Nigeria. Xiaomi stopped shipping this model years ago, so what you see advertised as new is almost always refurbished, repackaged or simply mislabelled. Treat every Redmi 10A as a used phone and price it accordingly.
How many Redmi 10A units are actually for sale in Nigeria
We counted 6 active listings for the Redmi 10A: 0 advertised as brand new and 6 as used. That puts the used share at 100%.
A used share that high means nobody is importing this phone new any more. The Nigerian Redmi 10A market is now a resale market, supplied by handsets bought years ago and traded down the chain. Prices there are set by condition, not by model, which is why the ranges on this page are wide.

What other brands sell at ₦85,000
Almost nobody shopping at this budget in Nigeria is loyal to one brand, and almost no price page puts the options side by side. These models from other makers sit within a fifth of what this Redmi 10A costs today.
| Rival at this money | RAM | Display | Released | Condition | Typical price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infinix Smart 9 | 4GB | 6.7 in | 2024 | used 64GB | ₦85,000 |
| Tecno Spark 10 | 8GB | 6.6 in | 2023 | used 128GB | ₦83,000 |
| Samsung Galaxy A21s | 4GB | 6.5 in | 2020 | used 32GB | ₦95,000 |
The honest trade at this price: the Redmi 10A and the Infinix Smart 9 are close enough on paper that the deciding factor is which seller will show you the phone working with your own SIM in it. Every price we track for that brand is on the Infinix price hub.
Redmi 10A review: what you are actually buying in 2026
The Redmi 10A shipped in 2022 with a Helio G25 chip, 6GB of RAM and a 6.53 inch display. At 4 years old it is still inside the update window and the battery is the main variable.
Watch that before you pay, not after. Most complaints we hear about a used phone purchase in Nigeria are things the buyer could have seen in a ten minute review.
Grading a used Redmi 10A
Sellers in Nigeria grade by eye and call almost everything A-grade. Price against battery health and originality instead. These are the bands we would pay at the 128GB tier.
- A₦90,000 to ₦95,000
Battery 90% or above
No visible scratches, original parts, seller can show the box or receipt
- B₦79,000 to ₦90,000
Battery 85 to 89%
Light scuffs on the frame, screen unmarked, no repair history
- CBelow ₦79,000
Battery Below 85%, or not stated
Visible wear, replaced screen or battery, or a seller who will not show the health screen
What to check before you pay
- 01Mi Account lock, before anything else. Settings, then Mi Account. A Xiaomi still signed into the seller’s Mi Account cannot be reset, flashed or used, and Xiaomi will not unlock it for you. This is the single most common way Nigerian buyers lose money on this brand. Make them sign out, then factory reset the phone yourself.
- 02Check the ROM region. Settings, then About phone, then HyperOS or MIUI version. A version string ending in MI or ID is global or Indonesian and is what you want. A string ending in CN is a Chinese ROM: no Google services out of the box, and units flashed from CN to global in Lagos often break at the next update. Ask directly whether the phone was flashed.
- 03Bootloader status. Settings, then Additional settings, then Developer options, then Mi Unlock status. An unlocked bootloader on a used handset means somebody has flashed it. Banking apps and Google Pay will refuse to run, and you cannot tell what else was changed.
- 04Google account lock. Settings, then Accounts. If the seller’s Google account is still signed in, the handset locks itself at the next factory reset and nobody can recover it. Make them remove the account in front of you, then reset the phone yourself before money changes hands.
- 05Verify the IMEI on Xiaomi’s own checker. Dial *#06#, then check the number against Xiaomi’s official verification page. Counterfeit Redmi units are common in the lower range and they are convincing enough to pass a settings screen.
- 06Check the network bands. Units imported for the Indian, Chinese or Middle Eastern market sometimes drop the bands MTN, Glo, Airtel and 9mobile actually use here. Dial *#*#4636#*#* and open phone information, or check the model code against Xiaomi’s own regional listing. A phone that only ever shows 3G in Lagos is usually a wrong-region unit.
- 07IMEI, last. Dial *#06# and check the number matches the box and the sticker under the SIM tray. A mismatch means replaced parts or a re-shelled handset. Our guide to spotting fake and parts-swapped phones covers the rest.

Where these prices come from
Prices come from active retail listings on Jiji, read on 14 September 2026. Across the Redmi 10A we reviewed 6 listings: 0 advertised as brand new and 6 as used.

What is the battery capacity of the Redmi 10A?
5000 mAh as published by Xiaomi. On a used unit the rated figure tells you very little: what matters is how much of it survives, which is why the checklist on this page asks you to measure it rather than trust it.
Is the Redmi 10A still worth buying in 2026?
Yes. At 4 years old it still takes security updates and the used discount has opened up enough to make it good value.
Redmi 10A or Infinix Smart 9: which is better value in Nigeria?
They cost almost the same here: the Redmi 10A typically goes for ₦85,000 used and the Infinix Smart 9 for ₦85,000 used. The Redmi 10A gives you 6GB of RAM and a 6.53 inch display against 4GB and 6.7 inch. Compare the two on price per year of remaining software support, not on the spec sheet alone.
